Sub-measure 6.1 “Business start up aid for young farmers“
Description:                        Start-up aid for young farmers, promoting employment.
* Applicants may apply for assistance not later than 18 months from the date on which the holding was started.
 
Beneficiaries:                      Farmers - natural persons, sole traders, Ltd., who:
- are registered as farmers under the Farmers Support Act;
- prove between 8 000 and 16 000 SPV;
- are aged between 18 and 40 as of the date of submission of the application;
- have the necessary professional skills and knowledge: completed secondary and/or higher education in agriculture or veterinary medicine, agricultural economy and/or a certificate of at least 150 training hours or a certificate of professional qualification in the field of agriculture.
 
Eligible costs:                     Costs for the establishment and development of farms of young farmers specified in a business plan (for a maximum of 5 years).
 
Submission deadline:        August 2017 – September 2017
 
Max. co-funding rate:       Up to EUR 25 000
